The husband of Ash Good was forced to make an unimaginable decision when his wife and baby were rushed to different hospitals after the Bondi Junction stabbing.

Osteopath Dr Good, 38, was shopping with her nine-month-old baby, Harriet, on Saturday afternoon when Joel Cauchi, 40, stabbed them with a 30cm-long hunting knife.

Dr Good and five other innocent shoppers were tragically killed. 

After the stabbing, the mother was rushed to St Vincent's Hospital to undergo surgery while her baby was taken to the Children's Hospital in Randwick.

Dr Good's husband, Dan Flanagan, was forced to decide which hospital to go to first, and was fortunately able to see his wife before she succumbed to her injuries.

Harriet suffered stab wounds to her stomach and has now been moved out of the intensive care unit.
